What’s under Baby’s Christmas tree?

Posted by Diana on Thursday Dec 16, 2010 Under Baby Clothes, Baby Toys

With Christmas a week away, it’s time to fill those Christmas stockings with gifts our babies will enjoy.

Here are some ideas:

Clothing
Babysuits are great for babies of all ages. With warm Christmas weather, sleeveless suits are good. Here is a quick guide to baby sizes:
00000 is for a really small newborn baby
0000 is for a newborn and may only last up to 4 weeks
000 is for a 1-3 month old baby
00 is for a 3-6 month old baby
0 is for a 6-12 month old baby
1 is for a 12 month old baby

Novelty Items
Reindeer Antlers and Santa Hats are too cute on babies at Christmas.

Toys
Babies love toys with contrasting patterns and colours, like hypnotising black and white stripes. Toys with mirrors, teething rings, that make crunchy noises or play tunes are also a hit!

My baby adores a pink elephant that plays a tune when she pulls on the teething ring made by Bright Stars. Another of her favourite toys are her range of books by Lamaze. Her soccer ball by Playgro is also a favourite.

What’s under your baby’s tree this Christmas?

Classic children’s books are under the tree for our first xmas – “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and “Where The Wild Things Are”. Hardcover to keep on the shelf and cherish. Also some timber toys (online from Bambino Pronto), stacking rings and block shapes (from Fisher Price). Handmade pyjamas from the markets complete the gifts.

For this very first Christmas Santa is bringing
    *one special outfit
    *two timber toys
*three seasons of the muppets on DVD
…..and one million board books that mama could not resist.
(although 6 months is a little young for screen time, we see the muppets as an investment in her future. And ours! Best wiggles replacement ever 😉 )
    Happy Christmas Everyone!

Wow, this was a incredibly top quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real work to build a beneficial post… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way look to get a thing done.

We are very excited about Teddy’s first Christmas and are confident Father Christmas will come as Teddy has been a very good boy. We hope he will bring a seat for the back of Daddy’s bike and a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar!

Strange this submit is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, however it it is helpful and was listed on the 1st page. I guess your performing some thing appropriate if Google likes you enough to place you on the initial web page of a non associated search.
