I was given the BabyBjorn Original Carrier from my sister who had used it for her first child 8 years ago!
Like most well designed products the BabyBjorn Original is durable, aesthetically pleasing, timeless and highly functional. Baby sits securely in the outer shell and can face inwards or outwards. I must say both Baby and Dad look cute when she is facing outwards. The straps which cross around the back are secured safely at the base and side of the shell. The BabyBjorn can be adjusted as baby grows in length and the Original is suitable for baby’s up to 11kg.
I find the design ergonomic and combined with the well stitched durable light weight fabric – Baby feels lighter in the BabyBjorn than when I am balancing her precariously on one hip!
The BabyBjorn has been fantastic when traveling by plane as I have my hands free to carry my onboard luggage and I can weave my way through the airport terminal knowing baby is securely next to me. Baby found it so comfy on my last plane trip that she fell asleep while in it.
A cute accessory I have recently used is the BabyBjorn bib. Baby is currently teething and quite the dribbler, the bib protects the carrier from the dribble – smart thinking by those Swedes.

I love my Baby Bjorn and my hubby does too. He looks so proud carrying our baby around when we’re at the shopping centre. It reminds me of that episode on Kath’n’Kim.

I loved using my baby bjørn as well! Really great to have the hands free option : ) I used mine sometimes in the house when my baby wanted to be carried all the time, took a lot of pressure of my hips.

I find the baby bjorn handy and convenient but at 9kg baby is feeling really heavy. I use the original with the straps at the back however I think the new lumber support design would be better for me now.

I use ergobaby because I can carry my baby on my back she weighs 10.4kg now – very big!

I’ve been traveling for 3 weeks just with my carrier and it’s great!

I found it helpful when my bub was young. I remember the episode in Kath’n’Kim when Brett wore the Baby Bjorn to his work – hilarious!

Didn’t work for us when baby was young. My baby was 4 months old when he enjoyed it. His preference is forward facing with Daddy (very cute). It’s easy to clean and durable.

I have the Baby Bjorn Synergy with hip straps and I found it has a better weight distribution. I wouldn’t mind trying an ergobaby to compare the two.

I’ve found the Baby Bjorn good when we’ve used it. Truly a product with longevity.

We love babywearing! We have a Bjorn, a beepbeep sling, and a Close Baby Carrier.
After trying a friend’s Ergo this week I’m now in the market for a semi-structured carrier too – it was fantastic – so so supportive and comfortable.
We’ll either get an Ergo, a Manduca carrier, or an Olives & Applesauce carrier (which is in the lead at the moment).

Me and my hubby use our Baby Bjorn and we are very happy with the product. My hubby uses the carrier as an aid to settle our baby to sleep and the idea of having a bib is wonderful as now our baby is sucking on the carrier.
